Our priority is the health of all our project collaborators and their families so, like most of Europe, we are now working remotely. We have reorganised our systems to ensure current activities, WPs tasks and deliverables are carried out as far and as long as possible, given the situation.
Where this is not possible, we are trying to anticipate tasks and prepare for meetings that cannot be held remotely, such as regional stakeholder committees. This way, we hope to avoid major delays, and when “normal” work resumes it should be possible to catch up – focusing on pending activities or face-to-face meetings.
We are currently discussing the best way to hold our first annual General Assembly, adapting to the present conditions and using various forms of digital communications to ensure it is both efficient and fruitful.
This uncertain period may have one good effect: encouraging our societies to assess and reflect on different ways to live and work that bring benefits to both climate and the environment.
We wish you all the very best and hope you keep safe and well.
